Tiger Radio is a labor of love...of Top 40 Radio, 50's and 60's Pop Culture, and a deep love for the city of Memphis, Tennessee where I had the good fortune to grow up listening to such legends as Dewey Phillips, Wink Martindale, Jack Parnell, George Klein, Rick Dees, Scott Shannon, Harry Chapman, Nat D. Williams, Theo "Bless My Bones" Wade, Honeyboy Thomas, Rufus Thomas, Martha Jean, Sleepy Eyed John, Bill Grumbles, Jerry Scanlon, Hugh Frizell, Jon Scott, Mike Powell, David Gingold, Red Beard, John Froland, Jay Cook, Dick Cole, Chuck Scruggs and I can't forget engineer Harry Simpson who did overnights.

I was blessed with stations like WDIA, WHBQ, WMPS, WHHM, WLOK, and KWAM. I hope, in some small way, I can impart to you just how exciting this time period was and this city is!!
